How do refunds work if I return my Skytech remote?
If you return an item, our standard return policy applies to your order. Once we process your return and issue a refund, Affirm will credit your account for the amount refunded. Please note that you must continue making your scheduled payments until the refund is fully processed and officially reflected in your Shop Pay account.
Can I pay off my balance early?
Yes, you can absolutely pay off your balance early at any time without any "prepayment" penalties or hidden fees. By paying off your loan sooner, you may even save on the total interest costs associated with your monthly installment plan. Simply log into the Shop app or your Affirm account to make an additional payment whenever you choose.
What payment methods are accepted for installments?
To set up your installments, you can use a valid debit card, a credit card, or link a checking account for certain monthly plans. Please ensure that the card or account used is linked to a U.S. billing address to avoid any processing errors during checkout. Note that Shop Pay currently does not accept prepaid cards for installment payment setups.
Are my payments made automatically?
For your convenience, Shop Pay is designed to automatically deduct your installment payments from the card you provided during checkout. You will receive helpful reminders via email and text message before each payment is scheduled to be withdrawn. This ensures you never miss a deadline and helps keep your account in good standing with zero manual effort required.
Will checking my eligibility hurt my credit score?
No. Checking your eligibility for Shop Pay Installments is a "soft" credit check and will not impact your credit score. For some monthly installment options, Affirm may eventually report your payment history to credit bureaus, but the initial check is completely safe for your score.
